A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. We dispatch Erie units carrying industrial extraction pumps, air movers, and commercial dehumidifiers already loaded on the truck.
Hirex Water Damage started because homeowners in Erie, PA kept telling us the same story: a national hotline picked up, put them on hold, and then subcontracted the job out to whoever was cheapest and closest. Every technician on our Erie roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Water Damage Repair in Erie isn't a side service we tacked on β it's the reason the company exists. We carry full general liability coverage and are licensed to operate throughout Erie, PA, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Because our equipment lives in a Erie, PA warehouse rather than out of state, we're not waiting on a supply run before we can start extraction.
Anyone in Erie who has had a supply line fail overnight knows the real cost isn't the leak itself, it's how long the standing water sits before someone with the right equipment arrives. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Erie call at a time.
Water damage doesn't always look dramatic at first β some of the costliest Erie jobs we've handled began as a small, easy-to-miss problem. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse β call our Erie line and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day emergency or something we can schedule.
We size the Erie response to the actual damage β a single-room extraction gets a two-person crew, a commercial loss gets the full fleet β nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Our Erie units run truck-mount extraction pumps that pull thousands of gallons per hour, cutting standing-water time from days to hours. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once water is out, we bring in commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers, positioned using psychrometric readings rather than guesswork, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
On the residential side in Erie, we handle the flood-cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so your home is ready to rebuild, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Erie businesses and property managers get a dedicated project lead, after-hours crews, and equipment scaled to square footage rather than a single-crew response β we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination β our Erie crews are trained for exactly that protocol.
On top of standard drying, our Erie crews treat affected materials to reduce mold risk and will be upfront if a section needs specialist remediation.
You get a written estimate before any equipment runs, not a mystery total handed to you after the fact.
Because our equipment cache sits inside Erie, PA, most Erie calls see a technician on-site in under 60 minutes.
We photograph and log every step specifically so your claim moves faster and you're not the one arguing with the insurance company.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider a Erie job done, and getting there again is on us, not you.
Our Erie team asks a handful of targeted questions so the truck that shows up already has the right gear loaded.
A licensed technician heads to your Erie address with extraction and drying equipment already loaded.
Extraction happens immediately, followed by a moisture survey that tells us precisely where the drying equipment needs to go.
Daily moisture checks continue until every affected material reads dry, and you get a complete report at the end.
Every Erie job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That's not a marketing line β it's written into every Erie work order we issue. If a second visit is ever needed, it comes from the same crew that handled the original job whenever scheduling allows, since they already know the property and the readings we started from.

Around-the-clock coverage in Erie includes extraction, drying, and Category 3 sewage response β nothing on that list waits for morning.
Direct adjuster communication is standard β we send photo and moisture documentation formatted for a Erie insurance claim.
Dryness is confirmed with instrument readings against a documented dry standard, not just by feeling the wall or carpet.
We regularly handle sewage backups in Erie using full containment, PPE, and EPA-registered antimicrobial products.
Cut power to the affected area if there's standing water near outlets, and avoid walking through it until our Erie tech confirms it's safe.
Commercial response is a regular part of our Erie work β restaurants, offices, and multi-unit buildings included.
Typical drying time runs 3-5 days for a Erie home, though a job that sat unaddressed longer can take longer to fully dry.
Mold isn't inevitable, but the window to prevent it is narrow, which is why we treat speed as part of the Erie service, not an upsell.
